About the Author
Peter Williams (1937-2016) was an internationally renowned Bach scholar and performer. He held the first Chair in Performance Practice in Britain at the University of Edinburgh, where he was Director of the Russell Collection of Harpsichords and latterly Dean of Music. He was also the first Arts and Sciences Distinguished Chair at Duke University, North Carolina. He was the author of many books, including The Organ Music of J. S. Bach (3 volumes, Cambridge, 1981-1984), Bach, Handel, Scarlatti 1685-1985 (Cambridge, 1985), The Life of Bach (Cambridge, 2003) and J. S. Bach: A Life in Music (Cambridge, 2007).

I bought a copy of Bosha Bhat to Biryani (by Niaz Zaman) from Dhaka New Market during my recent trip to Dhaka and am yet to try some of the recipes. It seems to be a beautiful document on Bangladeshi cuisine. It's well grounded in research and cultural history. The recipes (particularly, pilaf/biryani and meat dishes) are representative of Bangladeshi or Bengal Muslim cooking. The English language used in the title is scholarly as well.

The kindle format for the iPad messes up the format and does not allow pictures to be aligned with their captions/legends. This makes it very difficult to study the images effectively/without constantly flipping between pages

Good supplement to class

This is the recommended textbook for our histology class. I don't read every word of it. I only look at the graphs and the explanation, and that really helps. My professor also uses a lot of graphs from this textbook, so having a more detailed explanation helps a lot. Overall, this is a clear, concise textbook that's not completely necessary but a good supplement.

I'd like to add one thing... author Scarlett points out that Amazon evaluates four separate elements of your book's content in determining its suitability for publication (MS, cover, title, description). It is vital to understand that the same guidelines apply to the seven keywords you list while publishing the book on KDP.

Amazon Needs Something Like This For Their Content Guidelines

This book probably comes the closest of anything I've seen to detailing the things that are likely to get erotic books (especially by indie authors) banned or removed from search on Amazon. As the author admits, the information is somewhat speculative because Amazon's publicly available guidelines are quite vague. Even so, the author has been able to piece together some clues as to what will tend to get you flagged from her own personal experiences and those of other erotic authors she has interviewed. While there's no guarantee that following the recommendations in the book will work 100% of the time, I felt that the guidelines presented did make a lot of sense and made Amazon's seemingly inconsistent and arbitrary evaluations of erotic books seem much more consistent and logical. I think that by following the recommendations of this book, aspiring erotic authors can probably avoid running afoul of Amazon most of the time.

Not that it's a "tome", but I couldn't resist the alliteration. Publishing on Amazon, while a boon to those who wish to write in an era when getting published is nigh onto impossible, is also fraught with it's own pitfalls. Ms. Scarlet does an admirable job of delineating those pitfalls and showing those budding writers how to brave the maze that is electronic publishing. Kudos!

Edit: My replacement came and only came with volume 3.
Edit #2: Got my second replacement in and this time only got volume 1.

This is supposed to be a 3 volume set, but I only received volume 2.

I was not happy with the product

I was not happy with the product. This cost almost $300 and all i received was the binder. The contents of the binder was missing. Twice.
